Whole wheat flour in a dough bowl form. Stir in dry yeast and salt thoroughly using a baking horn.

Add room-warm water in portions. Mix first with a wooden spoon, later by hand. Knead in the baking bowl until the dough separates from it. Now knead vigorously on a dry surface for 5 min. Form into a ball and return to the baking bowl. Cover with a wet dishcloth and place in a warm place. Leave to rise for 2 hours. The volume of the dough must increase by half. Knead the dough repeatedly on the surface and form it into a ball. Make 8 loaves of the same size and place them side by side (like a rosette) on a greased or parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Cover with a wet dishcloth and let rise repeatedly for half an hour. Brush the loaves with oil and sprinkle with seeds or poppy seeds. Bake the loaves in the oven heated to 200 °C for 65 minutes until light brown. Cool on the rack.
