First, spread out the puff pastry and cut into 10 x 10 cm squares.
Place a dab of jam or nougat cream in the center of each. Fold the pastry over diagonally to form a triangle. Press down the edges.
Whisk the egg and brush the puff pastry with it.
Bake the puff pastry at 180 °C for about 15-20 minutes (or according to the instructions on the package).
