Instructions:

Fill the lentils with turmeric, salt and water in a saucepan. Simmer on mild fire for about 20-30 min. until the lentils are soft. So gently and carefully, because the lentils fall apart very easily!!!

Chop the onion, garlic and ginger. Dice chili peppers tiny.

In a second saucepan, heat clarified butter and sauté onions, garlic and ginger. Only when the onions are soft, add the diced chilies, as well as the cumin.

Drain the lentils and add them. Heat, season and stir thoroughly. Arrange in a baking dish. Stir the yogurt until smooth and pour over the lentils. Bring to the table like this.
