Cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar and lemon zest in food processor (or mixer) until fluffy. Add flour, baking powder and milk alternately. Pour into the mold. Place apples on top and drizzle.
Processing apples: wash apples, peel, remove core, cut in half, score, put into water and steam for 10-15 minutes. Bake the baking powder dough with apple at 190° top/bottom heat for about 1 hour.
Preparation Tip:
Dust with powdered sugar after baking. This cake is baked quickly and tastes delicious.
