For the semolina dumplings, cream butter, stir in egg and let semolina trickle in and mix. Finally, add salt, nutmeg and some finely chopped green parsley.

Let the mixture stand for about 15 minutes. Bring salted water to boil and form dumplings with 2 spoons. Cook for about 15 minutes.

Then take the semolina dumplings out of the salted water and arrange on plates with soup and vegetables.

Semolina dumplings go best in clear soups, but they are also delicious in cream soups.
