For the plum cake, first melt the yeast in a little lukewarm milk, mix with a little flour. Let this dampfl rise a little, then make a smooth yeast dough with all the other ingredients. Cover and let rise in a warm place, fold and knead briefly.

Grease a cake springform pan or tray and place the dough on top, not too thick. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and top the dough with pitted plums. Let the cake rise again.
