For the mandarin tart, fillet the mandarins and oranges and collect the juice. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with half the sugar until stiff.

Beat the egg yolks, soft butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy. Mix the flour, almonds and baking powder and slowly add to the egg yolk mixture.

Mix the mandarin orange juice with the batter. Gently fold the snow into the batter. Fold the tangerines and orange pieces into the batter as well.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees /hot air. Grease a baking pan (Ø 26) with the breadcrumbs and pour in the dough.

Bake the mandarin tart in the oven for about 50 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

If filleting the tangerines is too much work for you, you can of course also use canned tangerine pieces for the tangerine cake.
