For the lavender syrup, cut the lemons into slices. Pour the lukewarm water over the sugar, lemon slices and the lavender flowers. Leave to infuse for 4 hours. Stir occasionally.
Then bring to a boil and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Strain and bottle the lavender syrup while still hot.
