For the larded bread dumplings, cut the bread dumplings into slices. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat a pan with oil and roast the onion in it.
Beat the eggs in a plate, add salt and turn the bread dumpling slices in it. Add them to the onions and fry them on both sides.
Serve the larded bread dumplings.
