Instructions:

A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Spread a rolled out yeast dough with light butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread a still hot cherry pudding on top, prepared according to the basic recipe from cherry juice (reduced amount of liquid!), pudding powder and sugar. Top with the well-drained cherries. Roll out the puff pastry thinly and place it on top of the cherries. Bake the cake for 10 minutes at a good medium heat. Meanwhile, melt the butter, add the sugar and almond kernels and stir in the saucepan until the sugar is caramelized. Remove from heat, stir in the milk, cool. Fold in the egg last. Remove the cake from the oven, spread the brittle mixture on the top of the puff pastry and finish baking the cake. It gets a fine shine and does not need to be additionally buttered or sugared.
