Instructions:

1. cut cheese and ham to size of bread slices. Cover 4 slices of bread with 1 slice of cheese and 1-2 slices of ham so that nothing overlaps. Cover with a second slice of bread.

2. place side by side on a baking tray and bake in a heated oven at 220 degrees , convection oven 200 degrees , gas mark 5 for 8 minutes until the top of the bread is golden.

3. turn bread slices to the other side and sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to oven and bake for about 5 to 8 min more, until cheese is melted.

Immediately cut into small pieces. Insert a wooden skewer into each piece.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will add a wonderful touch to your dish!
