For the chocolate walnut cookies, prepare the shortcrust pastry. To do this, quickly knead all the ingredients together into a dough and leave to rest for approx. 2 hours in a refrigerated place.

Preheat the oven to 170 ºC hot air. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

On a floured work surface, roll out the shortbread dough and cut out the cookies with a cookie cutter and place on the baking paper.

Bake for about 12 minutes and let cool.

Stick two cookies at a time together with jam. Spread white chocolate icing on one side and place a walnut on top.

Let the chocolate walnut cookies dry.

You can also make the chocolate walnut cookies with dark chocolate icing or nougat icing.
