For the children’s penguin cake, first prepare the dough. For the dough, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until foamy, slowly adding water.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa and slowly fold into the egg mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the egg yolk mixture.

Divide the dough into 2 halves and spread thinly on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake individually at about 200 degrees until the dough turns color.

For the cream, whip the whipped cream and stir in the gelatin prepared according to the package instructions.

For the glaze, melt chocolate, water, oil and margarine over steam.

Spread half of the cream on the sponge cake. Smooth out the cream and spread with some of the glaze.

Let chocolate cool/harden, then spread with remaining cream. Place the second sponge cake on top of the cream. Cover with chocolate icing.

Refrigerate for a few hours (preferably overnight) and serve the Kinder Pingui cake cold.

Preparation Tip:
