Rinse and chop the pointed cabbage, remove the stalk. Finely dice the onion. Heat the butter and sauté the onions until translucent, add the pointed cabbage and sauté for about 15 minutes with the lid closed, season with salt, pepper and sugar.

Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a frying pan and roast the meat for 5 min. on each side.

Grease an ovenproof dish, put the pointed cabbage in it. Spread the chicken breast fillets evenly on it. Top first with ham, then with the cheese. Bake in the heated oven at 200 degrees for about 5 minutes until the cheese has melted. Sprinkle with paprika powder before serving.

Tip: It’s best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
