Prick sausages several times with a needle. Crush pepper with a fork and mix with juniper schnapps. Place the sausages in a shallow dish, pour the schnapps mixture over them and leave to marinate for about 15 minutes with the lid closed. Turn several times to the other side.
Remove the sausages from the marinade, dab well and brush with the oil. Grill until crispy brown on all sides.
Variations: It looks pretty if you twist the marinated sausages into snails and stick each of them on a skewer. For this, however, the sausages must not be too thick, otherwise they will not roll.
