Instructions:

Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small pieces. Mix with sugar and apple grain and leave to soak for one night.

The next day, put all the remaining ingredients in a suitable bowl, mix and add the soaked apple pieces.

Mix everything well and pour into a greased or baking paper lined loaf pan. The pan should be suitable for 1.5 to 2 kg of contents.

Bake at 220 °C (convection oven: 200 °C) for 60 – 70 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

If you like it stronger, you can add 1 to 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and cocoa. This gives the apple bread a stronger flavor and a beautiful brown color.
