For the steamed white cabbage, heat the oil in a pot and fry the onion and sugar in it. Add vinegar and a little water and bring to a boil.
Add the cabbage, salt, pepper and let it steam covered for about 1/2 hour. Dust with flour, add a little more water and season the cabbage again.
Serve the steamed white cabbage.
Preparation Tip:
You can also add some sautéed bacon cubes to the steamed white cabbage.
